          Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is a swiftly advancing field, with new ideas emerging every other second. From mobile phones to fiber optics to remote sensing, there are exciting avenues to explore and create even better ideas. With technology becoming all pervasive in everyday life, opportunities for electronic engineers are endless. The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) was established in the year 2012 with the vision of developing the department as a Centre of Excellence in R&D, in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering and make the students blossom into meritorious and self-disciplined engineers by hard work and prepares students for careers in this constantly evolving discipline. The department has well experienced faculty with proven ability and diverse specialization. The faculty are actively involved in research in the areas of image processing, Signal processing, Optical Communications, VLSI and Microprocessors, Power-Electronics, Telecommunication, Satellite Communication, Computer Networks, etc. The laboratories are well equipped with modern training facilities that cater to the requirements of the University syllabus as well as to architect the learning experience. This Department plays a vital role in training students of other branches of engineering too. Besides regular classes and lab sessions, the Electronics and Communication Association conducts seminars on emerging technologies regularly thereby ensuring that the students are "Industry Ready". The Department has been moving forward in achieving academic excellence with a strong commitment and dedicated approach, by clearly setting up of a vision of its own. The initiatives taken have already started yielding excellent results, in terms of research funding and other developmental activities thus keeping us in the path of excellence. The department provides the students with academic, extracurricular and other resources to help them assimilate the engineering principles and apply the same in tune with real applications. The students are encouraged to design and build a project of their choice in the final semester that helps them to apply the nuances of their theoretical principles with the practical aspects.




          The association is the pioneer in encouraging the students to organize and participate in the national level symposium. Association of Electronics and Communication Engineering in association with ISTE and IEEE organizes national level technical symposium every year. This symposium attracts the student community from all over India. The students exhibit their talents in various mind provoking events. The other events organized by the association are International Conferences, National Conferences, Workshops, Seminars / Guest Lecturers on advanced topics.


          The laboratory infrastructure of the department is excellent with state of art equipments and software related to the field of Engineering. The extensive facilities available in the laboratories can be utilized for research work, in addition to the lab courses as per the affiliating university requirement for UG.

          The laboratories are well equipped with modern training facilities that cater to the requirements of the University syllabus as well as to architect the learning experience. This Department plays a vital role in training students of other branches of Engineering too.
